Classroom Placement of Multiple Birth Children
Texas has become the 2nd state to enact a law giving parents of multiple birth children the
right to determine classroom placement for their children in public schools. HB 314 was
signed into law on May 15, 2007. Help spread the word to other parents of multiples that
they now have the right to decide on classroom placement. Parents choosing to keep their
multiples together must submit a written request to the school. Enclosing a copy of the law
with your request may be beneficial.

| August Membership Meeting August 19, 2008 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Western Hills Church of Christ This month we can look forward to our kids going Back to School, and we’re Going Back to School ourselves. Baylor NICU RN Monica R. will be teaching infant and child CPR. Monica is a mother to identical 18 year old triplet girls! We will also be collecting school supplies to donate to the Rosie Mauk Child Development Center at the YWCA. The Center cares for the children of homeless or very low income parents who are currently seeking employment or job-training. |
